X-tax V. Short Black Wig Cosplay

A little too layered

I just received it in the mail after ordering it on 4/13. First thing I do, I put it on, and it's super comfortable, and looks so realistic. It was a bit frizzy, but a little combing will help that, and a wash if needed. My only issue is that it has a bit of thick layering, so I recommend it for characters who have thick and fluffy hair like Gamzee Makara or Mituna Captor from Homestuck. With some styling, it'd be a perfect one for john Egbert as well (Homestuck).

Okay

This was my second purchase from matchwigs, and I was a bit hesitant at first seeing as my first order had been messed up. This wig is pretty frizzy, seeing as many strands of hair are sticking upwards. The hairline/middle is also pretty tangled and even a piece of weft is sticking out. I'm not the happiest with the quality, but they did ask me if I want a refund, which I declined since I needed the wig.

We offered an exchange with you but seems like you needed the wig. That happened last year and things have changed quite a bit for the better now (= We hope to be able to ship more wigs to you soon!

good wig

The wig is actually longer than i expected, the longest part of it coming down to about 1/2 inch below my shoulders. it has good lift for styling due to the frizz top, but i so far have not had much problems with it being itchy. Though because of this i wouldnt recommend it for any cosplay that needs a flat wig, but for a cosplay such as those recommended by the community in the description it would be perfect in both length and body. The fibers are soft and the wig is a good thickness to style and spike. The costumer service was excellent, i had to get the first wig i ordered refunded and then reordered due to the fact I picked the wrong shipping, and the person who helped me was quick with responding and helped me through the process of reordering. It took a little over a week to arive to where i live in the USA with free shipping. All around good wig and price, and will definitely be buying from here again.

Good short wig

I bought this for my homestuck cosplay a while ago, and it worked quite well for my Kanaya and Jake cosplays! I find you can finger style this easily, and it also works well with heat/ hairspray. The only problem I had with it was the fibres right at the crown, they were a bit frizzy when I first got it. A bit of brushing and a wash helped tame it though.

Ok

Second purchase from Matchwigs.com , I liked the pictures of this wig , so I decided to ask for it as a birthday present. I ordered it on 20/3 and it arrived in 13 days I think . I’m not keen on the texture of this one , it is kind of scratchy and made me feel a bit icky. It is as thick as the other wig I bought from there. This was also the first wig I washed and it was fine. It is not very good for styling and it lost it's shape during transit sadly. So I would probably get Laflar or Wanar instead as they are basically the same.
